Not sure what they are made out of but they have been around for years. They use liquid lighter fluid.

Got mine at BudK for $1.99, they sell for $2.99 every day.

They are ok but the flint wears out like any zippo and the wick wears out even faster.
Spend your money on a good flint and steel.

OK, OK, Jeez!

I have the real thing also but I'll take the Ferrochrome Rod and steel.
Easier to use and safer for my knuckles.
