I would use one of these sets more often.

Along with a flat piece of cast or steel as a griddle I'd be in pig heaven.

I do not like fluorides in my food as the non-stick coatings are just that FLUORIDE. Other than that it would be a nice kit for sure if it was cast iron.

These new tests show that cookware exceeds these temperatures and turns toxic through the common act of preheating a pan, on a burner set on high.

In cases of "Teflon toxicosis," as the bird poisonings are called, the lungs of exposed birds hemorrhage and fill with fluid, leading to suffocation. DuPont acknowledges that the fumes can also sicken people, a condition called "polymer fume fever."

My personal Wok is like this:

Heck I'm so conservative I had to look up what the black crap was. Never did like that junk. I don't like stainless steel knives either.

That was just the best pic I could find fast looking for the set with bowls and spoons. :gs:

A Sterno folding stove, mess kit and a couple fuel cans would serve as a backup if you had to dump the truck. the stove itself will fit in the side pocket of my BDU pants...I think.

I doubt that's the cheapest place to get one, just thought I'd link to a description.

Actually for the BDU i would have to say

and some trioxane or esbit inside the stove should fit in the bdu side pockets

REMEMBER you can cook on rocks you do not always need cookware. but you should always carry at least a SMALL stainless steel or iron CUP to boil water in. That would be keeping things to the minimum
