Once paper money is worthless for everything else,I can see it becomming worth its weight in gold. Its durable, washable,a whole bunch of it will fit in a small space, and when its reached the end of its life it can be used as a firestarter.Who says money cant get you out of deep $h!t.Matt :D

PS I bought hundreds of MRE toilet paper packets and sotred them in cacumn bag. Figured it would make good ttrade item at one time for the current price it cost me.

well if u bought hundreds of them, that is a good start. but what u guna use the next time u got to take a dump. thous things are just a bought worthless for wiping your ass. i know i have had to use um in the field. as a child i grew up pretty poor and my grandma was somewhat of a seamstress so we had lots of dress patterns. that is what we used on occasion. plus in a bind i have used a towel and wet one end to wipe clean then the dry end to dry myself off. their is all ways baby wipes. thy get ya pretty clean as well and if thy are good for a baby thy are good for you as well.

when I did a trek for school class are teachers had us use rocks. if we brought tp to use we would have to pack it out. I use the rock because I am not going to carry dirty tp around with me. They were hippies.

mj52732,
It's simple MJ, I plan on using the sponge on a handle method with a soothing mix for the water. :) Done it before, and yeah MRE TP is not great, but ya know when people are desperate some will think it heaven sent compared to what they will have been trying to use. :)

My buddy bought a book at REI for his 18 year old son:
How to sh!t in the woods, an environmentally sound approach to a lost art
I haven't read it but he said it was very informative.

That would be the wrong thing to do in my house, those who are welcome up here when TSHTF know if they did anything to ANY book in my bookcase they'd be out on their ass regardless of conditions.

No state has the inherrant right to survive through conscript troops. Roman matrons used to say to their sons "Come back with your shield or on it.". Later this tradition declined, so did Rome. excerpt from Time Enough For Love by Robert Heinlien
