I'd be happy to help, but I'm not good with the tech stuff to get pictures loaded or videos made.

I'd be happy to help once I'm done with the smoker which I had to put on hold due to wood becoming available and the need to haul/buck/split it for winter. Here's what I can do:
weld-arc/oxy/MIG/TIG
sheet metal-brake/shear/punch
Machining-Lathe/Mill/Horizontal & Cylindrical grinders
restoring chainsaws
ran an auto shop for 7 years, left in 1996 so not current on the new stuff
fly fisherman/tie my own flies
archer/make my own arrows
shooter/reloader
leather work
according to my wife I'm pretty darn good at cooking too

The only thing I do not do is plumbing.

If you can come up with any projects you think I could assist with let me know. I'll be starting on a leather ax guard soon so I'll put together something on that since it's simple.

I have a similar problem posting becouse of being on my mobile phone 99% of the time.It only has a 2mp camera which is Ok for somethings but sucks on the details.I will be posting a how to diagram on a septic tank and drainfield tonight and have worked in most fields of construction.I also have much insight on makeshift fixes(long&short term),security, weapons, and hardening/strengthening/fireproofing of even stick built structures.Matt
I want to die in my sleep just like my Grandpa, not yelling and screaming like the passengers in his car. ""I'm the one you go to when something absolutely has to go"Kaaboommm"!!!!""

As far as the diy stuff, I'm not much help there. That is why I'm here, but I would encourage everyone with those skills to help out. Johnny is right, pics and vids help out a ton. I've watched several of the vids posted here, read the articles you guys put out, and I am happy to tell you that I am almost completed setting up my first indoor garden, thanks to the advice and info I've gotten here from several of you guys. I just would like to say thanks!

I love the idea. If this tech-challenged old guy can figure any of this out,I'll be happy to help.

How about a 'Post your questions here' forum?? :evilputer: Love this site and all the preppers here!

:gs: If members have problems or want to learn something they feel will be beneficial in a SHTF situation why not let them pose the question and anyone who can explain how to do it post a DIY.
