Would like to start a thread about where to get the best price on some of the common stuff people need for prep.
Yesterday I bought the following things at Sams to add to my prep. I add stuff every month and use the older stuff before it expires, if it does.
Iodized Salt - 25 pound bag $3.58
Baking Powder - 3.75 pounds $5.47
Baking Soda - 13.5 pounds $5.98
Bakers yeast - 2 pounds foil packs $4.38
Sugar - 50 Pound bag $23.17
Pop Corn - 50 pound bag $16.58
========
Total $59.16
Of course bought some other things, like I always do, but those were put back for prep. Each has uses for more then just the normal one people think about, each are things that make life better or even necessary for life and it was pretty cheap.
What good priced items have others on here found and where did they find them? Please be detailed because then others can make their shopping lists from them.
I repack many items in smaller sizes with my vacumn sealer adn write the date packed, expected experation date, what the item is and the weight on it.

some of those are very good prices! where'd ya get them? Though prices differ in different parts of the ocuntry, it still helps knowing where to get them at that price.

I got them there at Sam Club or used to be called sam's warehouse back when Sam was alive. Some deals there are very good, others not so good, so you have to pick and choose and look at the experation dates on things that expire.
