The gun show was in town this weekend so I picked up a few goodies:
almost 400 308 brass
100 30-06 brass
3 boxes of strike anywhere matches (can't find them at any stores around here)
some more sutures
another scalpel and some blades
a dental pick set and a mirror(the guy looked at me weird when I asked him if he had any tooth extractors)
A rail mounted light for the beretta 90-two
stripper clip adapter for ak mags
I also traded some silver for a remington 870 express magnum
Most of the guns and ammo were still way over priced, but there were some deals to be had if you looked hard enough.

THis week we got thousands of rounds of reloadable ammo. Lots of non food things from the dollar tree that were mentioned on past shows that are maybe easily attained NOW, but you never know in the future. Lots of first aid supplies, medicine, etc. Also found out local Save A Lot to be the cheapest place for canned goods. Since beginning to Prepare, I have gone to Sam's club for large sugar, flour, honey, basic foods. I will be buying the camp stove later this month. Oh, and propane too...

1000 teabags of tea, canned chicken, 24 cans canned soup, 12 jar spaghetti sauce, 5 lined flannel shirts at thrift store, 8 jars peanut butter, big fixed-blade knife to spread it with. Oh, and another GI mess kit and wool socks and another poncho liner.

I've been buying food...dehydrated and freeze dried as well as canned. Looks like others are doing the same.

I got a lantern that runs on the small propane bottles at a thrift store. Been wanting one of those for a long time. I have been collecting candles and have a lot of them, but prefer the lantern. It will light a room better with less hassle than using candles.
