I found the link very informative. It also has me thinking, the back pack load list.
We know the amount of supplies for a short journey are minimal, so the trip home is a relative no-brainer. still good tips. The home prepping advice is solid and valid, after all when your at home you have room and no movement is required. The packing for movement and moving to a secure area is one of the greatest, and most serious, endeavors that we might potentially face. When to RUN, what to take. I have seen many lists, as most of you I'm sure have, reality bites and we require so much stuff. I'd like to test some of the packing lists I have seen, but holy moly! I'm thinking a route, alternate route, system of caching might be a necessity for successful survival from area to area. Good post, food for thought.
