In this day in age I don't think you can. We have cyborgs, satellites that can see a dime on the pavement, cars that hover, cars that can exceed 300MPH, cars that turn into airplanes, politicians that turn into a55holes, men that turn into women and vice versa. I could go on but it would take up too much space. IMO your doing a spectacular job, whether the technology is here or not is irrelevant your a great writer and can really create a plot and story line.
