WalMart sells belt/sling straps and plastic hardware in the camping section for making your own stuff as well. They are usually located close to the hydration bladders and carriers.I bought several sets of the straps, cinches, quick release buckles,d-rings and such for under $10.Matt

One of the greatest about site links is you have to time to browse and think. I can invent some neat things just by browsing online, then purchase elsewhere. And I don't have the wife standing there tapping her foot going come on dummy :D

I ordered the stuff for my sling from strap works, good people to deal with.
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

I just recently made one. Very quick and simple. Just took a nylon from a rifle I had. Put a MASH hook on each end . Connect one end to the other using a D-ring(does not work well when connecting 2 MASH hooks together). Then use one of the MASH hooks to attach to the weapon. Mine is CQC. I installed a sling attachment to the buffer tube. Works great. I have it adjusted to draw right to my shoulder quickly.
