I still can't say enough for the series "Jerico". The absolute best, real life comparison to what may happen to the US and how the World, US citizens, and townspeople respond to their own dire straights. I would watch again and again. Do you have someone riding the fence...let them see this movie. My wife and daughter saw parts and were drawn in. I don't think you can rent it. I think you have to purchase the series. I wish for you all to have the same opportunity I've had to view it. You'll love it!

I like that series, both seasons, on DVD. Had some really good actors

Hasn't anyone seen "The Patriot" ? There are also a number of good documentaries on the coal mine wars(against the unions) that took place in WV years ago. Not a big movie person, unless it's related to actual history.

A 'kinda-sorta' (I know, it's stretching it) SHTF movie that was pretty cool (but cheesy) was 'the park is mine'. You can see it free on you-tube
