Good website, if you haven't seen it before:
http://www.w3f.com/patriots/
Let's say 300,000,000 Americans each simply reallocated 1 dollar per day, spending 1 dollar less on foreign-made goods, 1 dollar more on American-made goods. ($30 per month, per person)
After a year, this would add up to $109,500,000,000.
What could the real, productive American economy do with an extra $109.5 billion?
How about 2,737,500 new jobs paying $40,000 per year?
109,500,000,000 / 40,000 = 2,737,500*
Almost 3 million new jobs. At only 1 dollar per day.
Now, just for fun, multiply x 10.
If it isn't that difficult, why do you think that Washington won't do it?
Could it be that this would also eliminate a problem to fix with bigger government, their real goal of obtaining more power???? I think so. All legislation by Nancy Palosi and Harry Reed, and sold to us by Obama and the media (press) obviously indicate this conclusion.
We must take our country back from these socialist power mongers. ASAP!

" No people will tamely surrender their Liberties, nor can any be easily subdued, when knowledge is diffused and virtue is preserved. On the contrary, when people are universally ignorant, and debauched in their manners, they will sink under their own weight without the aid of foreign invaders. " --Samuel Adams, letter to James Warren, 1775
" Those that do not heed their history will be doomed to relive it. But, to heed their own history, they must first be knowledgeable of it. The words of our forefathers must not be taken lightly for as then, it is true now, to heed them is the only key to our liberty. " --John Beaman, email to his children, 2009
James Madison:
"I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents...
If Congress can do whatever in their discretion can be done by money, and will promote the General Welfare, the Government is no longer a limited one, possessing enumerated powers, but an indefinite one, subject to particular exceptions.
The powers delegated by the Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite.
There are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations."
Those who do not understand our history -- mostly those identified as "liberal" in contemporary vernacular -- assume the words of our Founders are as antiquated as the Declaration and Constitution they created. However, students of history understand that both the threats our Founders confronted at the dawn of our nation, and their advice, have endured to this day.
Indeed, to paraphrase Santayana's aphorism, "They who do not know their history are destined to repeat it."

Very very true. They are trying to tax and legislate the USA businesses out of existence.

It is amazing what we could accomplish in this country with a dollar if we only acted upon our best interests. Main Street America benefits us much more than Wall Street America.

You can start by buying at your local farmers' market.

Agreed Joe, farmer's markets, co-ops, local vendors, local merchants. That is how we re-stimulate our economy.

Nice one, Joe. I'm very fortunate. There's a Farmer's Market across the street from my office most Tuesdays.

A plug for Inter Ordinance... When I wanted to buy an AK-47 I looked at a couple of options. Their made-in-America AK-47 wasn't the most bang for the buck, but it's the one I bought because I could buy an American product. I've got some guns foreign made, but S&W will get my money before Glock or CZ.
