Very impressive. Slightly different from the equipment shown in your avatar, though probably a lot more appropriate for this era.

(Yeh, I know that's not you in the avatar.) :-)

Unfortunately, if you were caught carrying that lot around here they'd lock you up and throw away the key. :-(
When in doubt, apply rule ·223 or ·308 -- unless you have a more preferred calibre.

Vry nice, lots of good stuff.
How much does it all weigh?
Just cirous.
( I know you don't need to carry all of it at one time)
My basic tool rules:
Deploy your assets, if you spread them out no one know how many you really have............................
Redundant calibers are just another asset...........
Have passed, "need", along time ago.........
Invest in airplanes and firearms, never women or cars.......
Precious metals..........Brass and lead......
The more you know, the less you have to carry.......

bid, you desperately need to immigrate to america. if you come to this area you can still find 640 acre sections of land for around $100,000. not to mention that open carry of GUNS is legal, not just bug out supplies.

hunter, the vest weighs around 30 lbs but it and the rifle (9 lbs) are to be used separately from the BOB and fannypack. the BOB/fannypack are to get me home in case the SHTF while i'm on my route (up to 150 miles from home). the vest and rifle are for fighting and stay at the house until i need them.

the BOB weighs 60 lbs but i likely wouldn't be carrying everything with me. i packed it with the intent to remove whatever wasn't necessary for the situation. better to be able to make those decisions at the time IMHO. the fannypack weighs around 15 lbs.

CFI: Very nice set up. Of course I'd have have that rail ridind bike from that story you posted. My old knee's wouldn't last too long with 100 lbs . extra weight on me.
Bid : LOL..I can see you trying to explain all that gear to a cop down under.
Maybe that job in San Diego is still there for you as Sr. instuctor.
Nevermind , California is going down the crapper faster than most places here. Hunter Valley it is.......Dennis

On another site, a guy went out walking his dog along a road in his neighborhood and was testing some of his gear. A cop stopped him because he was carrying a alice pack and wearing a LBE with a kabar strapped on. The cop searched his pack also because people wouldn't want to see guys like him walking about. Cop followed him home too.
