LOOKS GREAT!

Loft in the back as a tool box type which would mainly be a storage about 1 foot high and slide out of the back drawers

A well supported front and rear bumper. Possibly some angle iron welded to the front (modified) bumper and sharpened to a point to be used as a tire piercing tool, or block wall breaching device. A detachable frame (similar to that of a snow plow) can be made and put on when SHTF as to not advertise your daily driver as a BOV.

O I got a 2wd pickup as my DD it was also my Bov, but I wanted someting with four wheel drive. It sucks that I do not know how to weld or I would have a nice fab bumbers. I plan on getting a Snow plow receiver and a plow to make extra money. So tire spikes would mount right in like off one of the old tanks from WWII to plow through walls and hedges :D I want a heavy duty bumper for the back. On my pickup my rear bumper is a big target for people hitting me I have gone through two junkyard bumpers from my rear bumper being hit. But that help pay for this truck :D On my front bumper I want one that I can stand on to work on the truck. My mechanic is short and she needs a stool to stand on :D

Make sure you get a very small, lightweight snow plow. The light frame and suspension will not last long with a plow designed for a 3/4 or 1 ton truck. Don't forget the plow lights as well...they're only a few hundred bucks. Heavier duty charging system along with secondary battery and isolator. Five good snow tires (at least). Extra capacity fuel tank.
