Make sure the used battery is has enough starting current, take it and have it checked at the auto parts store. Second pull the starter and take it down and test it. One of the two is probably bad.

No, I have checked everything electrical I can including having the starter tested and it is all in good order.
I was going to pull the spark plugs but the wires are screwed to the manifold and the fuel rails and a few other items would have to be removed to take the plugs out. that is a little over my head. I know I can take it apart, but remembering where everything goes to reassemble is a different story.

So it is sitting in the driveway looking and laughing at me right now.

Not as bad as you think...the ignition coils are only held in with one 7mm (usually) headed bolt each. Carefully unplug them before removing by gently depressing the small locking tab. If a tab breaks, just use a nylon wire tie to hold the connector together when reassembling. Before you pull the plugs out, either blow out or vacuum the tubes and surrounding area. Its important to keep dirt from falling into the cylinders when the plugs are out. 5/8" plug socket and a couple of extensions. No need to pull or even loosen the fuel rails, although a couple are rather snug with the long rubber boot on the bottom of the coils. Take a good look at those boots, too while you have them out. They will burn through, causing a misfire and will overheat and burn up the coil.

Just be patient with it and you'll be fine. HTH!

ETA...IIRC, 7mm is about the same as 9/32"

OK my van again,
I gave up on it for a few months after trying what I thought was everything....
I checked and tightened every Ground Cable I could find.
Replaced the starter
pulled the plugs and changed ( not an easy task I might add)
Bought a used Battery from the Junk yard
Replaced the cylanoid
and Nothing
I could not get this stupid van to turn over more than half way at a time.
So I gave up and let it be for a while and a week ago my Lawnmower wouldn't start, so I hooked up my trusty Battery charger to it and the damn lawnmower wouldn't turn over. I put a New battery on it and vroom fired right up.

So Kicking myself in the ass I looked at the van and went and got my Jumper cables and tried to jump it off my truck.
Damn thing started right up.
The used Battery was Bad and so is my "Trusty" Battery charger.
350.00 later I put in a NEW battery and she purs like a Kitten.
Just goes to show ya that some times you cant trust your own equipment or Used Batteries.

Good thing is you learned something in more than one way,
1 do not overlook the SIMPLE things that could cause the problem,
2 dont ever listen to me again LMFAO !!!

You are becoming a mechanic. I work on my own cars, but when friends want me to repair their cars, I usually don't know how to fix THEIR cars, I only know how to work on MINE, unless it's something easy. The problem with my mechanic's education is that I only know how to fix the things that have broken on my own cars, and if it hasn't broke yet, I don't know how to fix it. :D
