Seems that it is not the RED color but the way it distributes to the roots in the 4 holes, that is if it WORKS :D

though I was sceptical about the "red", apparently studies have shown that red, does indeed, work better on peppers and tomatoes...they now have a plastic mulch that is red as well, and I think those water pyramids you can get.

I like some of the new products, they do appear to help growing, however, in my opinion, you get more value for your dollar with tender loving care and knowing your plants by tending them daily.

We are going to use these this year. We are in our garden every single day, its a great quality time thing for us and as beginners, I will take all the help I can get.
