if it moves and shouldn't, use duct tape.

If you can't fix it with duct tape....it can't be fixed.

if it is supposed to move and doesn't, you use WD40...duct tape won't help.

Worked pretty good in immobilizing a patients head on a backboard after a mini van wreck where we ran out of CIDs.

Duct tape has taken a beating in the media, but that stuff is great! We used it to seal a gap in the door, left by having to run the generator cord through. It and plastic sheeting kept the poisonous gasses out.
Duct tape can also help make protective clothing, a shelter, a bag to carry and most anything else you can think of. Duct tape has a site that will give directions on making things as well as ideas for it's use.

I use ductape and a loop of 550 cord to make my own magpulls for my 30 rd mags.

I've used it to mend most eveything. I keep a roll in my bob
