I read that if you freeze the rice before you package it, the larva will be killed.

No charge for the extra protein. Beef bullion cubes last a seemingly long time as well. Not forever, but a long lime. The honey thing is creepy long...Egyptian long. -GrimOne-future -Fan Replacer post SHTF.

When you're hungry enough you'll appreciate the extra protein.

All bugs have a real hard time doing anything with dry white rice. It is not like weevils and wheat, but it can still be cooked up.
Now Rice beetles just love green rice plants and them big bugs have a lot of protein and are not bad for you. |

Vanilla extract and cornstarch were news to me. Whole corn is good for about 6 years. I figured cornstarch was good for about a year since cracked corn is worthless in 2.
Interesting. Rice and wheat are both good for many years. Yes, even opened, as long as you keep the bugs out of them. "I claim common law jurisdiction. I do not consent to this and I waive the benefit." -Me to the corporate enforcement officer at my next traffic stop.

Yeah they did! You know why? They figured anything with that many chemicals was evil and thats why the Myans left the continent because they thought the evil twinkies had poisoned the atmosphere.
