I, and my family, won't starve because of feral kids. I'm not going to risk it.

Thing is, there will probably be a lot of orphaned kids post shtf. They'll do much like street kids to now, form gangs and hang together. Not always a bad thing but has a whole lot of potential for that. And those kids will do whatever it takes to survive. Just like you and I would do anything to make sure our own families ate.

Case by case basis, and only if I know I can help them without cutting my own throat. But chances are, as hard as it may be sometimes, I'm going to have to harden my heart and become blind to the suffering. It will be everywhere in one for or another, and I know for a fact I can keep my family alive and OK. I don't think I can do that with strays.

Will help kids if possible, but know enough to watch them
