Hey guys!
I'm a lurker, but long time prepper for SHTF. I was on a business trip to Europe a couple a months ago and that volcano in Iceland started shutting down the airports, so I started to write a story. It started out as an exercise to help me think through what I'd do, but then started taking on a life of it's own.
It's about how something ilke the volcano could start the dominos falling in the EU and eventually the world. The main character is far from his preps and has to figure out how to get out of the EU as it begins to fall into Chaos.

Found the beginning to be quite plausable, and the following entries haven't gone off into some esoteric direction that all too many such yarns go. Congratulations on your efforts thus far, and I'm looking forward to reading mre. ......Bid... When in doubt, apply rule ·223 or ·308 -- unless you have a more preferred calibre.
