CA...... they want to have the right to confiscate your car if you don't pay in the toll road and also to take away your drivers license..... and a fine that could be as much as $93,000 hahahahahahah.
Feds thinking of lowering the interest rate another .50%.....nothing more than another link of the chain going around your kneck.
Park in the state of Israel named after Pollak (the Zionist spy), it will open while Bush is visiting........I wonder if Bushe's handler will give him order to go to the opening.
Now all the experts are saying that there is a 50% chance of a recession, in what planet do this people live in???
So much going on....... I wonder which will be the straw that will brake the camel's back.
SHTF List of Issues To Prepare For

I'm prepped for and continually prepping for whatever happens, but regardless of the "nature" of the circumstances that bring about TEOTWAWKI or TOECAWKI, I comfort myself with the knowledge that I am prepared to ensure my family still has the basics covered. The Triangle of Life, Water, Food, Shelter and the ability and tools (weapons and know-how) to protect those three basics. I own my own land (as much as our government will allow me to, but that's a different post) and have my basics pre-stored and prepped there, so if and when my family and I have to Bug Out, we are there within 2 hours (pending traffic, though I have 4 routes to take) and we can hunker down.

I think we all prepare for as much as we can...we figure that almost no matter what happens it will mean shortages and high costs for the things we count on to survive, possibly long term grid down (whether by economics or actual failure of the grid).
as far as gas goes, I have repeatedly heard over the last couple of days that they are talking about deliberately raising the price per gallon up to between $7.50-$10. per gallon to get our usage down. This would be catstrophic for all Americans and I believe would lead to a complete collapse. (as seen in Rawle's book "Patriots") The president has talked lately about reducing our usage by 1/3 over the next 10 years. NOT that I think he can do that or that the government is capable of managing such a feat, but it is clear that he has intent to raise prices dramatically with his actions. We still have (at LEAST) two more years with this bozo and we didn't think he could get health care thru either. On a mountain top in western Mass.

As for what I prepare for, I prepare less by type of disaster than I do by basic human needs. The basic needs are pretty much the same, no matter what the disaster. As I meet my goals for the basics I do specific things for specific disasters. There really aren't that many individual elements that aren't appropriate for several sets of circumstances. My ultimate goal is to be as self-sufficient for as long of a period as it is practical to be in modern society.
This is a list of the things I consider when I’m making preps, in no specific order after the first four (No. I’m not ready for all of them yet. Yeah. Don't have much of a sense of humor, so I get pranked a lot. Even when I don't know. Drives some people crazy that I don't acknowledge something they think is hilarious. But sometimes I just don't get it.

that's the best thing about prepping in general. you shouldn't have any ONE thing you prepare for, it should cover basic living and then a bit. If you can live with food, shelter, heat and medicalnd continue long after the preps run out (garden, skills, herbs etc), then you can survive pretty much anything.

I'm not prepping anymore, and I've quit worrying about SHTF events. I'm just a spectator on this trip
. Now I'm just 'planning' for the worlds longest, staycation, All-American backyard camping trip. And it could turn into a hunting trip, if anyone tries to take my 'camping equipment'.
To Paraphrase Dr. King:
. "I have a dream that all men will one day be judged not by the size of their bank account or for their legal business affiliations, but by the content of their character". . Lord, help me to quit worrying about, HALF-full or HALF-empty, and make me thankful, for the glass! |
