When you hear about these things one at a time they don't seem so bad. Especially since you don't usually hear about all of them. But take a look at them all at once. Please watch it all the way through I know some of it will frustrate and infuriate you but if you think TEOTWAWKI isn' WELL under way this will change your mind.

Whenever any government becomes oppressive it is not only the right but the duty of the citizenry to revolt. Thomas Jefferson
I can understand how a person can look at mankinds inhumanity to man and say there is no God; but I can not understand how a person can look at the mountains and the stars and say there is no God. Abraham Lincoln ![]() No state has the inherrant right to survive through conscript troops. Roman matrons used to say to their sons "Come back with your shield or on it.". Later this tradition declined, so did Rome. excerpt from Time Enough For Love by Robert Heinlien

The highly unusual natural disasters (is there such a thing as a usual disaster?) in 2011 give me as much or more concern as the political/economic turmoil. As bad as things as the picture looks, things have been way worse for folks in the past. Will things get worse? Almost certainly. How bad will it get ...well as Cons says, 'Prep and Pray.'
I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear. MLK
Big government crushes the air out of its citizens more cruelly than the bully sitting on the skinny asthmatic kid. dochudson 2012 “You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality.” ~ Ayn Rand

Occasionally mother nature likes to remind us that we are not much more advanced then cockroaches, and when she does it can be quite a ride. We really did not have that unusual a year disaster wise, if you look back in history mother nature has dealt out significantly more in a single year than we saw this year.
An interesting point on the earthquakes. With the general warming trend we are seeing it is very likely we will see more earthquakes. The reason is that as areas that have been under ice emerge and start to rise and other areas submerge due to sea level changes this will change the distribution of pressures on the internals of our planet. This should cause the more seismic areas to experience more activity as they act as pressure relief valves... As for the weather that is expected as well. Any time you increase the energy in a system it will experience more activity. We see this all the time when we boil water. As the energy in the water increases the water goes from just standing there to actively boiling. The earths weather is no different and it is moving from a light simmer to the edge of boiling. Then we have population growth to take into account. In 1960 we had about 3 billion folks, by 2000 we had doubled our population to about 6 billion people. In very simple terms what this means is that any single disaster will affect about twice as many people then it would in 1960. In short we are not seeing the end of the world but instead exactly what is expected.

Let's see, this year in my area (Southern New England) we had:
Hurricane (w/record rains/flooding)....ask HP!! Tornados (F1-F3) Earthquake Micro-Bursts(w/lots of damage) Record Jan Snow (54in) Record OCT snow (3/4 of the state lost power) some for 2-weeks. Record Heat (104 deg) Record for wettest year EVER. So really, 2012 should be a cakewalk!!!! All these things can't possibly happen.......again!
