 No Diet Coke! That'd be like skipping the Turkey for me!

Unfortunately I'm the only one who would eat green bean casserole...

25 pound turkey! My gosh, that thing would have had to start thawing last week and it goes in the oven like hours from now! I've not cooked one that HUGE in a long, long, long time.

How do you get a huge 30 lbs., turkey in the oven?

That big, you probably have to negotiate! :D

Hubby was surprised I had a roaster that it fit into.
And people wonder why we had 3 ovens in kitchen, now 4 ovens. All will be working on Thanksgiving.
If you'll hungry Grim, you are more then welcome to show up, but the grown kids only drink Diet Pepsi.

No negotiating to get in oven but a lot to get it stuffed.

no diet coke here...sierra mist natural (no caffience and NO HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP)
disgusting grape soda
stuffing
boiled onions in cream sauce
MAYBE green bean casserole
mashed potatoes
gravy
turkey for sandwiches
MAYBE a pie

It all depends on what I feel like. We actually had a mini Thanksgiving with the group this past weekend, so we'll see. I don't make a big fuss over holidays.

Going to in-laws this year...they all got mad last time we did it. I brine my birds, and don't use a pop-up timer. They don't even season theirs, and use the pop-up timer....they're jealous because my turkey's better. I will be doing my own thanksgiving turkey, though I will be buying it after thanksgiving on clearance, and cooking it in the smoker like my dad did growing up. Gotta get me some white oak wood to chip up soon.
I'll keep my Freedom, Guns and my Constitution, you keep the change.
