What happens when trash run the city...it's violent and it's going to get much worse. They lay off 1/6 of the city employees, but make sure that over 2/3's of the ones laid off are Cops and Fire???

This city is misrun, the thugs have elected their allies and their Mayor is gutting the police and fire, using the very real budget problem to attack essential services. Hundreds of police and firemen have been fired.

How many have been dropped off of welfare?

You can't blame the Mayor, she was elected by the majority and she's doing what they think they want, cutting down the po po's.

Thugs on the street corner wearing shirts proclaiming: 1-18-11 - and the words "it's our time." to mark the day the police force get gutted.

They also took out a lot of the firemen.

OK, so if you live in Camden, other than the pat answer "Move" what steps would you take to increase your personal, vehicle, home, and family security if you faced the above situation?
Too big a reach to consider yourself in the slum of Camden? What if there is a steep rise in crime in your city and there's anticipipation of there being an sharp increase?

as guns are illegal in NJ, i'd say it's time to bug out.
