Looks good, but if you put one person in for a year it says 14 gallons water.
I was told you needed 1 gallon per day minimum.
Otherwise a very informative calc. :D

in a pinch and if you remain still in a cool place 24/7, you can get by on about 3 pints of water a day. the 1 gallon/day assumes moderate exercise. if exercise is extreme that may be increased to 2-3 gallons a day, especially in hot, humid conditions.

Also isn't the 1 gallon per day for hygiene and other things because 8 oz a day is what the rations recommend , (asking )

The only problem I have with these food calculators is that they recommend Mayo and salad dressing. So lets say that you actually have to start relying on your food supply. That means the world as we know it has gone through a major change, and not in a good way. Most likley electricity for a fridge will either be costly fuel wise for you generator, unavailable, or unreliable. Almost all mayo and salad dressings require cold storage.

So you either have to:

1. Buy very small containers that cost way more
2. Plan to use all the product in one day
3. Risk eating it over time and thus contracting a food born illness
4. Only eat it in the wintertime when you can store it in a reliably cold area (but when it comes to salad dressing there isn't much salad greens growning in the dead of winter!)

So my husband and I decided to scrap the whole idea of those two items and instead make up the difference in oil, peanut butter, and crisco. If you stock olive oil you can make your own mayo and dressings anyways.
