That was GREAT! I don't think you need to change anything. When your reading a story and it makes you feel like your there thats a great story. Also it was very interesting, I usually don't read stuff like that, but it got my attention forcing me to finish it lol. Great story try and get it finished I'm looking forward to the ending. :D

Christian for Israel wrote:come on folks...i need comments! if no one's reading this then why should i bother posting it? and how do i know if you're reading? by your comments of course. please give me your ideas, criticisms (i can take it) and what stood out to you or what you'd do differently (i may not agree or even discuss it with you but your ideas are still important to me). i'm always looking for new ideas and who knows, if you make a good point i may include it in the rewrite or even another story. :D

It was really good (so far). I actually cried at one part, which I won't revieal. I am actually trying to become a Christian (after finding Buddhism made me more angry and worried), so this story helps me collect my self, and motivate me to learn about religion and prepping. I think then ten commandments are good rules, and I already follow the nine nobel virtues and the 8 fold path.

Good work, half way through now. :D

P.S. I WANT THAT SILO!!!

No disrespect to you or your story Christian but I stopped reading at chapter 7......only goodness will save the world and not religion.

If you want to read another survivalist adventure camuflage religion then read one by Pat Roberson......... THE END OF THE AGE.

Good luck with your story.

that's good to hear gregg. as for religion, a wise man once said religion is 'rules, but without God'. i don't promote religion...the story itself has all you need to know to find a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, which is all you really need in the first place. just remember, nothing we do can make us acceptable to God, no matter HOW good we try to be. forgiveness and acceptance are a FREE gift...all you have to do is accept them.

as to the part where you shed a tear, i bet it was when eric died. at least, that caused ME to cry and i was bawling as i typed it. this whole story was inspired by God and a lot of the things that i wrote about were as much a surprise to me as they are to the readers.

A great read, Christian. I truly enjoyed it. I have the same two suggestions for you as for your friend. I think that it would be great in both formats.

(Although I think that you misspelled 'Sylvia'. I think that it should be H-i-l-l-a-r-y. I know it's a cheap shot but somebody had to say it. :D )
