I found this doing a search.. There are 2 slightly different versions.

One Year Supply $5.00 A Week For 2 People

Each week take $5.00 and then buy the specified items for that week. Remember that some weeks will not use all of the $5.00 and some weeks will use more than $5.00. Plan to set aside $5.00 each week regardless. There are also a few weeks you will have nothing to buy, but set aside the money for those weeks as well. By the end of the 52 weeks you will have 700 lbs of wheat, 240 lbs of sugar, 40 lbs of powdered milk, 13 lbs of salt, 10 albs of honey, 5 lbs of peanut butter, 45 cans of tomato soup, 32 cans of mushroom soup, 15 cans of tuna fish, 10 boxes of macaroni and cheese, 500 aspirin, 730 multiple vitamins, 6 lbs of dried yeast, and 6 lbs of shortening. This should sustain 2 people for 1 year.

**Remember to add $5.00 for every additional 2 people in your family. You do not necessarily need to purchase these items in the week listed. If you find the items in week17 on sale, buy them and move the current weeks items to week 17.

This is a basic food storage plan that will sustain life for 1 year. [Purchase a container of water each week.]

Week 1: 2 cans tuna fish, 2 containers salt, 1 lb yeast
Week 2: 5 boxes macaroni and cheese, 4 cans tomato soup

Set aside $5 a week to buy the specific items each week. You will have a kitty set aside that you put the $5 in and you can't touch it for any reason but to buy the food storage item for that week. Put in the remaining change back into the kitty. Some things in the beginning are going to be cheap and then later will be more expensive. In order to pay for the expensive stuff later you need to keep the leftover money in the kitty. Weeks 38 and 44 you will have "off" to replenish the kitty.

Week 1: 2 cans tuna fish, 2 boxes salt
Week 2: 5 boxes of Macaroni and Cheese, 4 cans tomato soup
Week 3: 3 cans mushroom soup, 1 2.5 lb peanut butter
Week 4: one bottle 365 count multi-vitamins
Week 5: 4 cans tomato soup, 1 10 lb powdered milk
Week 6: 1 bottle aspirin (500 tablets)
Week 7: 1 100 lb container wheat
Week 8: 1 5 lb powdered milk
Week 9: 1 5 lb honey
Week 10: 4 cans tuna, 4 boxes macaroni and cheese
Week 11: 1 10 lb sugar, 1 box salt
Week 12: 4 cans mushroom soup
Week 13: 1 bottle 365 count multi-vitamins
Week 14: 1 100 lb wheat
Week 15: 1 box macaroni and cheese
Week 16: 1 5 lb honey
Week 17: 2 cans tuna, 4 can tomato soup
Week 18: 1 10 lbs sugar
Week 19: 1 100 lbs of wheat
Week 20: 2 10lbs of sugar
Week 21: 1 10lb powdered milk
Week 22: 1 can mushroom soup, 1 10 lb sugar
Week 23: 1 can tuna, 4 cans tomato soup, 1 10 lbs sugar
Week 24: 1 10 lbs sugar
Week 25: 2 cans tuna, 2 cans mushroom soup
Week 26: 1 100 lb wheat
Week 27: 3 10 lbs sugar
Week 28: 1 10 lb sugar
Week 29: 1 10 lb powdered milk
Week 30: 2 10 lb sugar
Week 31: 1 can tuna, 3 cans mushroom soup
Week 32: 1 can tuna, 4 cans tomato soup
Week 33: 1 100 lb wheat
Week 34: 2 cans tuna, 1 box salt
Week 35: 1 10 lb powdered milk
Week 36: 2 10 lb sugar
Week 37: 4 cans tomato soup, 2 boxes salt
Week 38: Stash $5 in the kitty
Week 39: 1 100 lb wheat
Week 40: 1 10 lb powdered milk

Week 49: 7 cans of tomato soup
Week 50: 7 cans of mushroom soup
Week 51: 2 10 lbs sugar, 1 box salt

By the end of the 52 weeks, you should have:

700lbs of wheat,
240 lbs sugar,
40 lbs of powdered milk,
13 lbs of salt,
10 lbs of honey,
5 lbs of peanut butter,
45 cans of tomato soup,
32 cans mushroom soup,
15 cans tuna fish,
10 macaroni and cheese dinners,

How about this one, with stuff that will actually store long term, for less than $.70 a day.

LINK BROKEN

Complete with accompanying video showing you how to properly pack the foods for long term storage.

Rotation sucks, avoid it where possible.

I has always questioned list like this.
Yeah you have a lot of stuff BUT:

This assumes that you have a grain grinder/mill, baking facilities, and a very safe "retreat" to store it all.
If your Bugging in, this would be fine, but lets face it, how many people have the stuff to make this work?

I would guess there are alot of people that would have:
By the end of the 52 weeks, you should have:

700lbs of wheat,
240 lbs sugar,
40 lbs of powdered milk,

10 lbs of honey,

Very useful site Lowdown3, thanks for the intro.

Hunter- I guess I assume that people will actually live what they say. Would someone stock a gas mask and never train with it? Would someone own weapons and never zero them or practice regularly with them.... Forget it, I answered my own question!!! LOL

For the folks that take things seriously, practicing with your stuff be it weapons, nbc gear, basic survival equipment or food storage is important.

By all means I understand and agree that there's a lot of lazy folks out there that don't do what they need to do, keep up with there skill sets, stay in shape, practice regularly, etc.

Sometimes just having something is an incentive to work with it. I agree with you wholeheartedly that a lot of people WON'T do that, but that's not something I can help. I have to assume that the ones serious about there survival will.

Bidadisndat- thanks, I like that site too!

My apologies, I liked the site also, didn't mean to give the wrong impression.
The Mormons have had the 2 year program for as long as I can remember, that also was had a lot of beans, flour etc.

This was big back in the Y2K years and even before in the Nuke attack years.
Guess my point is that if your are at this site, SHTFmilitia.com Forum Index,
I'm assuming that you have your S#!T togeather and would know what to do with this stuff.

Thanks again for the site, I have bookmarked it.
