I've wanted one of those for a long time. Couldn't quite ever justify it. THen again, tax season is here...

Between myself and my fiancee, federal and state, we're getting 7,778 back this year, and about 2,500 is earmarked to pay off a back debt of hers. That still leaves over 5k to play with, mostly for bills, student loans, vacation, etc. Still, I got to dreaming last night, and ooooooh, how fast I could spend that.

well, i got a new job. also a couple of friends on another board donated nearly $600 to help me out. therefore i've been able to start rebuilding my food preps, which we have been living off of for months and were getting somewhat depleted. also i have earmarked my tax refund for the purchase of an M1 garand for my primary SHTF rifle.

thanks ocala and dallas. i am working as a driver/distributor for a bottled, purified water company. i was hired to take over the local plant and am the only employee here aside from a highschool kid who runs the bottler. we have an amazing filtration system that consists of reverse osmosis, an ionizer, a UV filter and a carbon filter 6"x3' in size. our water is tested by the state once a week and once it's in the bottles it's guaranteed for 5 years (though it will actually stay good much longer).

it's hard work as i usually deliver around 300 50lb bottles a day (our bottles hold 6 gallons). i also have to drive up to 100 miles from the plant on several routes. pay is good for us, around $2000 a month with another $500 in commissions. it's a small outfit but all employees and the owner are devout christians and preppers so i'm in good company. :D
