I do something similar. I use apple cider vinegar in a cup with a drop of dishwash soap in it to remove the surface tension of the vinegar. I cover the top of the cup with plastic wrap and pop a few holes in it.
Flies are usually gone within a day or two. |

You can also use a mixture of 2 parts corn syrup, 1 part sugar. Mix it, soak strips of a brown paper bag overnight. hang over a bowl(to catch the drippings). Maple sryup and brown sugar...umm I guess anything sweet and sticky. Molasses or honey would make a good fly paper too. I've also read that flies don't like pine, so pine sap would be a no-go.
I'll keep my Freedom, Guns and my Constitution, you keep the change.
Blind faith in ignorant leaders is NOT Patriotism. 1918 In the Wasatch National Forest of Utah, 504 sheep were killed by a single bolt of lightning. Sheep huddle in storms and the lightning bolt passed from one animal to another. |
