What is SHTF?

SHTF is a heavily used acronym in the survivalist community and it stands for Shit Hitting The Fan. This idea is applied to the general state of affairs in a country or even globally. Many argue that the sh!t has already hit the fan (socially, politically, economically), some say it's right around the corner but most people try to avoid thinking about it altogether. Nobody really knows if or when the S will HTF but speculations and predictions are abound.

I hope everyone on this site knows what shtf means, but its good you put it on here for those that dont.

I came around looking for help in case of natural disaster, such as hurricanes. The site has given me a lot to think about, Some I agree with, some I don't, not a one I will call screwy, I've been around to long. No matter what, the site has given me a great deal of info as far as taking care of me and mine, no matter what happens. Keep up the good work.
