Do you keep food in your vehicle ?
Not including your BOB

I do because I travel so much I keep a week or more worth of food in my Company truck at all times.

Some things i keep:
    Loaf of bread
    peanut butter
    jelly
    packages of tuna fish
    packages of spam
    canned pastas
pickles (I have kept them in the truck for weeks and never had issues even in FL)
    crackers
    beef jerky
water (lots of water bottles all in different places like truck tool box, glove compartment, tool bag and usually keep a whole case in the back of the truck)
paper plates, plastic knives, forks , spoons, cups
Usually in my cooler (gallon of tea, lunch meat- the kind you make subs with is like 8$ but you can make a ton of sandwiches with it, mustard, oranges, tomatoes, drink mixes for the 20oz water bottles, water.

Well i know it sounds a little out of hand but you have to remember i drive a lot and most of the time i do not have the luxury of going home every night and restocking, my cooler for daily use. So i keep about a week or more of supplies on me at all times.

Plus i have an emergency ration kit with 2 3600 calorie life boat rations and 8 packs of emergency water.

This does not even include my BOB :D

Only when I'm on a trip, then I pack the cooler, a small box of dry goods/tinned stuff, full water container and my single burner gas cooker. It's a lot cheaper and better than buying from fast food outlets.

Cooler:
Bread, butter, cheese, mayo, salad vegetables, cooked meats, (usually ham and chicken), milk, juices, fruit.

Hot Box:
Tins of Tuna and ready made meals, sugar, tea, coffee, pasta and rice, crackers.
When in doubt, apply rule ·223 or ·308 -- unless you have a more preferred calibre.

I don't keep food in the car, except a couple of granola bars or if we are going on a trip. I do not use the car daily, only weekly when hubby is gone. The granola bars and water are all that is needed. When I do use the car, I rarely go farther than a 20 mile radius from my home.

In the car: box of 'Power bars'
couple of high cal protein bars
2 MREs
several bottles of water
unless we are on a trip, in which case the wife always packs way more food than we need (LOL)

On another note, in my desk at work I always keep a 2 lb can of oats, a box of 'Power bars' a 3 lb container of almonds and some fruit.
BEFORE THE BOOGIE MAN GOES TO SLEEP AT NIGHT HE CHECKS HIS CLOSET AND UNDER HIS BED TO MAKE SURE I'M NOT THERE.

if i go on a trip i do - aside from that no. i do however keep water in the care just in case - if i need coolant in a pinch or i need to drink it. i also keep a toolkit and some spare brake fluid, oil, and jumper cables.

My audi TT came with a built in first aid / road kit, so it comes complete with emergency blanket, flares, bandages, etc. I was *really* impressed when I saw that in there.
