SlobberToofTigger,
Just toss about fifty pseudonephrine tablets into a chicken and let the alligator eat that (has most of the active ingredients in crystal meth) - Yea, I'm a chemist. The acetone or liquid heat is just a solvent to burn away all the Carrier chemicals, the lithium from the batteries is the catalyst - That's all I'm saying. Lithium is the chemical that cannot be flushed from the body, so onec you absorb lithium, you have it for life... Crystal Meth is no secret, unfortunately the tweeks tend to use the quick and dirty method to make it (we call it the "quick and boom" method). Besides the toxic fumes are not just cumulative, they are ever lasting, so just making it can be as deadly and harmful to your heath as taking it. Lethal Drugs - Dahhh.... .. But the pseudonephrin tablets will get the alligator tweeking.... .. Not to raise too may eye brows - but in the 60s in college we made LSD and gave it to a pigeon (PETA would have been really Pissed) and also gave some to a Parrot (yea we were young and stupid geeks). The damn Parrot rambled on and even sounded a lot like the easy rider characters - slurred speech, incoherent sentences. the pigeon just looked cross eyed (try and picture a cross eyed pigeon) and flopped around till he died. The damn yakety yak parrot kept on,,, an on,,,, and on,,,,,. The give away was he heard one of my associates say "I guess that damn LSD agrees with the Parrot". Which made the parrot's new favorite get attention phrase"That damn LSD agrees with the Parrot". Our Lab director at TN Knoxville wasn't happy about that... .... My friend recently told this story and my wife heard it for the first time - I have been married to a nun for the past three months - she is still pissed (and it happened in the sixties, before I even knew her!!!). .. Like I always say - What Goes Around - Comes around. My late great grandfather always said "what you do when your young and stupid - will end up biting you in the ass when you are old and grey". .. Incidentally, never smoked or did drugs (especially after seeing what it did to that poor pigeon). Smoking always seemed dumb "Lets' get this straight - It makes you cough, it hurts your lungs, can give you Cancer - and you ay For It???" ... Dave Phoenix. AZ |

Sorry folks....I can't limit myself to 10 :) Please forgive me.
One of my failings is the many lists I have....I'm a slave to my lists and yes I do buy against my lists (I just don't make lists) This list isn't of my own making. It is actually an excerpt from a broader white paper written by several physicians. That paper is "Doctors for Disaster Preparedness". ANALGESICS ETC. Over The County (OTC) Meds to Stock
OTC Meds http://www.survivinghealthy.com/?page_id=23 (Full list can be found at link, above) The over the counter medication recommendations are pretty self explanatory, as most people can read directions and also have some knowledge of these meds already. So the medications listed below are our recommendations to have ON THE STORAGE SHELVES, not in your regular medicine cabinets and cupboards that you live in. Having these stored specifically for TEOTWAWKI means that they will be there and will also be stored at ideal, or near ideal, conditions. PLEASE consider buying a good quantity of the medications listed bassed on your family/group need. --- CONTINUED at LINK, above --- Emergency Home Preparation.org -- A 'card-catalog' style of prepping information.

Ten Essential OTC Medications to Stockpile
![]() Hat Tip to Seeker2012 @ American Preppers Network: SurvivalBlog.com Ten Essential OTC Medications to Stockpile by Cynthia J. Koelker, MD http://www.survivalblog.com/2010/12/ten_essential_otc_medications.html By James Wesley, Rawles on December 13, 2010 12:12 AM Are over-the-counter (OTC) drugs really worth stockpiling? As a family physician my answer is a resounding yes. Most of the following were actually prescription medications when first released. (In higher dosages, several still are.) Although other OTC drugs are worth considering, these ten have been selected due to their ready availability, affordability, safety in both adults and children, and multi-use potential. Used alone or in combination, they can effectively treat dozens of conditions including: headache, fever, sore throats, ear ache, menstrual cramps, heartburn, arthritis, ulcers, diarrhea, allergies, hives, congestion, dizziness, mild anxiety, nausea, vomiting, poison ivy, athlete’s foot, ringworm, eczema, insomnia, backache, gout, diaper rash, yeast infections, and many more common illnesses. ---- Continued at link, above --- Includes: 1. Ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil) - Among the OTC anti-inflammatory medications, ibuprofen is probably the most . . . . 2. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) - Acetaminophen is the only OTC pain-reliever that is not . . . . 3. Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) - An inexpensive antihistamine, diphenhydramine is primarily used for . . . . 4. Loperamide (Imodium) - The most effective OTC medication for . . . . 5. Pseudoephedrine (Sudafed) - Pseudoephedrine is effective at relieving . . . . 6. Meclizine (Bonine, Dramamine) - This antiemetic drug is available both over the counter and by prescription. It relieves . . . . 7. Ranitidine (Zantac) - Although several medications are available OTC for the treatment of . . . . 8. Hydrocortisone cream - The 1% version of hydrocortisone is the strongest . . . . 9. Bacitracin ointment - This ointment is best used to prevent . . . . 10. Clotrimazole (Gyne-Lotrimin) The same antifungal medication, clotrimazole, is contained in both Lotrimin and Gyne-Lotrimin. Gyne-Lotrimin may be used to treat both . . . . Conclusion For under $50 total a good supply of all of the above can be purchased. Several of these medications are also available at . . . .
