Ya, sarcasm is hard to transmit through a keyboard. My wife has asked "what would you do if one of the prep shelves tipped over on you?" Get squashed I guess. That would really suck, after TSHTF to die when a years worth of food fell over and killed you.

at turkeyday dinner my father-inlaw ask me to come over tomorrow and get his big kerosne heater ready, and 4 me to help him buy 2 smaller ones. and som bottle water , and lights in case thry lose power. I used 2 live 4 miles from but just moved 20 miles. he is a KOREAN WAR VET getting older so I used to just run over there set em up with heat & water, take food. just about any time, they lost power. on friday I will talk to him a little more to get them a little more on getting things set up.

Just a note on the kerosene heater, I have one as an emergency for keeping the pipes from freezing and picked up a bottle of some stuff that masks the kerosene smell when it's burning, smells like pine now. Big improvement, while it won't lessen any hazards with the fumes it's a lot easier to deal with when it doesn't smell like a refinery when it's lit.
