I asked the Mexican family that has the ranch down the road about butchering a goat, and not only did he come over and show me how, but hsi wife sent along a mixed rub of her own that was GREAT!
The weather was about a 14 monts, and was split and laid ribcage down on a steel drum BBQ, the kept over a slow/low fire for about an hour with basting (I used the rest of the rub mixed with some beer)!
