When kids have no respect for elders, the times are done be ready for the things to come.

If I had disrespected an edler whichever parent that was closest to me would have made certain that first I regreted it enough that it would never happen again and second that I Humbly appologised.

I think this is what is WRONG today. This is unheard of now.. Disciplining your children the way it used to be, is now AGAINST the law. This makes me nuts. I am not into beating kids.. BUT.. I do not thinking that a TIME OUT is adequate punishment when teens start getting out of control..Oh Yeah, my kids got it (HANDS ON ) when they did wrong, and every one of them respects us and all are productive members of society. Now, I am not saying they came out ok Because of me, BUT what I am saying is that we did not DAMAGE their little psyches by corporal punishment! ( and they are girls)

What Stephanie said is right on. Kids are not being taught any respect for elders and many are not being taught any morals at all.. and look here.. that got one KILLED!
Maybe IF THOSE KIDS had baby daddies( OR MOMS OR NANAS) that WHUPPED their butts.. they might still be alive!

I know I got my share when I was growing up and I believe some others share on top..... I raised my kids "the old fashion way " also. I know the difference between a beating and a whipping......
