Well they've been saying it was just a matter of time, and "they" also have said that if Greece were to default, that would cause worldwide economic diasater. Sooooo, is THIS the beginning?????

It sure seems like they are heading for it.
They are telling the Greece people that there will be more cuts and that will result in more riots and things getting worse there. When they do declare default I do think it will be the start the first domino to fall. The thing is it doesn't have to fall far before it hits another domino.

hmmm, we shall see what happens with this. It's all we can do is sit and wait. It took them so dang long to declare Greece a "crisis" and to downgrade the others that I'm sure it will take a long time before they declare this real trouble. :hb:
The bigger issue in my opinion is India and others saying they are paying for Iranian oil with gold and not the dollar or basket of currency.

A Greek Default will cause, at the least, a Euro panic, and they want to avoid that. So they instead use some other word mumbo jumbo and delay telling it like it is. I think that is what is going on with that. Same as here in the States, if something super shitty was happening and would cause public pandemonium and panic, they'd not say what it is, exactly, they'd talk as if nothing were going on at all. Sorta like they already do when it comes to civil liberties and their bills to squash those.

I have friends in Greece near Athens. They are liquidating everything they can in the hopes of leaving the country in the next 3-7 days. The people aren't happy and are getting downright mean. It is only going to get worse

I had a friend I used to play an online game with that was increasingly worried about things. We discussed prepping and he said his best bet was just to leave for better places. Said things, especially in Athens, are insane. And that was maybe a year ago.

March 20 is one of the 'drop dead' dates. Greece has a large interest payment due then, and they're in panic negotations. One more time it's bailout or default for Greece.

Whatever they decide to call the Greek default, the people who have money invested and will be the engine in bank runs and the like will know that event for whai it is. A massive default. Then things go from there. Anyone notice the article on Soros and how he "doesn't know how or what happens next". Right, looks like he is going for the plausible deniability line. Fun times.
