"I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is now controlled by its system of credit. We are no longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men." -- Woodrow Wilson 1919

INDEED, a Car wash, and I thought my Gun Cleaning habits attracted attention! LOL, I bet it works as if it's supoer Hot water and or Steam, it would work, Gotta let it drain off well and then use L.P. Air to blow out all the Moisture, but Yea, thats a awesome idea and I bet it works as well? More Great Inputs, thanks! Lumpy, Yea, the Down side to Solvent tanks is that it does remove all good and Bad Grease and Oil, I like to use that opertunity to then slowly add a few drops of oil and or grease too the Operating points on the weapon? It';s a simple matter of the Pivoting or any Moving part, and as always Don't Over Lube the weapon! Or back inthe tank or solvent bath it will have to go? LOL

Not to steal the Post back, but as Lumpy so well pointed out, this method or kinds like it do remove all the Lubrication to the weapon! As well, a though knowledge of the Disassebly and re-assembl;y of that weapon should be well in hand BEFORE YA START? Trust me folks, it's not always as easy as it looks even with a book and time, go Slow, be patiennt and enjoy your well cleaned firearm! Friends and Relatives will wanna ask how ya did it and it might evoke some jelious looks? Share the Knowledge and you will be in good company? LOL Numuric Gun parts offers free diagrams on line that can be Printed out of most common firearms and most of the mil-Suplus guns we might have to do this chore on! If I can find the Link to thier site I will find that area and post it as well?

Once again, Participation has made my Half assed post a Lot better and a lot More valuable to the newsgroup, again, my thanks!
