Hi Stephanie. I have heard lately that other people use there dog's hair for spinning. I have also found many people that get freaked out by the thought. I figure that since there is dog hair all over my house and clothes anyways I might as well make use of it.

Pitasdurmast, I have a couple of cast iron irons that heat on a wood cook stove. I need to get a handle for them. The handles could pick up and release so that one could heat while using the other. I am not sure what a sad iron is.

I have 3 electric machines and also a treadle-I strongly urge anyone who does not sew to learn now and buy a treadle-it will sew denim, muslin and will sew lightwieght leather!

I need to do some research and figure out how to make a treadle to convert an old electric machine. I have an old singer that could be converted.
