Both my Inspiron B130 and my Mini are running it and honestly I'll only go back to windows if someone holds a gun to my head and even then I'd have to think about it. No crashes, no blue screens of death, no lock ups, nothing. Getting rid of windows was the best thing I've done in a long time with the computer.

We too use ubuntu or linux 100%, except for my work laptop which even then i try not to use at all i will use linux as much as i can. Thanks to A77. I used linux for other things in the past but got to talking to a77 one day and decided to try ubuntu, which by far is the easiest linux product to start with if your a beginner or just tired of windows I HIGHLY suggest using linux.

A77 you also forgot the trojans and viruses that come along with any windows product, WE DON'T have that issue :D :bravo: :um:

For printing, HP is very into the Linux scene. Using HPlib I have yet to find a printer that won't work as well if not better then with Windows. I use a All in one scanner printer and fax. Since all of my computers are Linux or BSD it has to work for me.

Also Apple OSX is based on the Next tech that was based on BSD. Linux operates in the same manor but is an entirely different family.
I am the grumpiest hippie you will ever meet. My Blog

The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first,
the love of soft living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life. - Theodore Roosevelt
