Now with a few bits of extra code you can now get your (actually any) Youtube video to start exactly at a time you specify in the URL.

By adding #t=169 to the URL I'm telling YouTube to start the video at the 169th second, 2 min 49 sec, that is. Don't bother yourself figuring out how many seconds you'll have to enter when you want to start your vid at 4:31. That'll just be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuBo4E77ZXo#t=4m31s
When embedding videos, you do have to calculate the number of seconds from the start and add &start=169 to the param value and embed src:
