That is the most commonly seen porta water tabs you can find and they work. but 25 quarts is not much and that is why i prefer the straw or filter to the tabs.

hmm, did some research, my findings?
We are only as good as the information that we are fed. unless we are part of a controlled experiment. As to using these tablets, I would be inclined to assume the absorbic acid in the 2nd pill might remove the idoine taste but so does the kool aid!

Yes these work very well.
I bought ten bottles back in the fall and tried it. it works fine and while it does still have a little after taste it is nothing horrible and tastes fine.
the bottles are very small and you can store them anywhere. I keep 2 in my truck and the rest in my BOB.

One thing my wife has been stocking up on is those individual kool aid packs just add to water and shake. tastes Great.

add a pill to your canteen when you refill it. by the time you need to drink your good to go. A lot of the taste can be overcome by areation of the water.
