Also interested in seeing it. Great idea! Spare axles for the tow vehicle! Spare Tires/wheels! Really great Idea!

My DD and BOV is a 2008 JK Unlimited. Some mods, I need to get a leveling kit so I can fit 33x10.5.16 tires this summer.

Oldsoldier.....question for you. What gears are you running that you only get 10-12 mpg? I had a 94 XJ on 34" ltb's running 4.56 gears annd for 19-21 around town and 22-24 on the hwy......just wondering.

yes I did I also wired a small 12v pump similar to those on fuel transport tanks construction companies use to fuel stuff on the job site. While mine is only a 2 gallon per minute pump it'll do in a pinch. It also has a "reverse" pump capacity that could be used in a SHTF situation to draw fuel from underground or other sources.
If by my experiences, mistakes, and training. I can help one person to gain the wisdom that will allow them to survive or to save the life of someone they love then I can truly say, that all of the things I have done have been worth every second spent.

John I'm having a "alzheimers moment" can't remember I think I've got 3.11's in it. But having the rock crawler type transfer case is the biggest issue as it is designed for power rather than speed. That along with the roof rack and box and weight of gear also adds to decreased fuel economy.
