Being as I have 200 plus acres of land, I hope to not have to leave but if I do end up needing to bug out I have an 81 GMC half ton 2wd with upgraded rear suspension and a fifth wheel hitch along with a gooseneck ball, will also be adding a class five receiver with hitch tubes for all different ball sizes, so i can basically pull any type of trailer needed. It has a 305 small block in it right now but I have a 454 I am putting in it. Fuel efficient? no but will have the power needed to pull. I have a 25 foot fifth wheel camper from 1974, in the front of it I blacked out all the bedroom windows and filled it all with 2 inches of high density poly foam insulation and then some green gaurd fan fold insulation and 1/4" paneling to seal it up, if needed I could seal off the bedroom and survive in the cold just off my body heat building up in that little hole. it isnt pretty but it does the job and also has plenty of room for alot of gear, with all the gear I have planned for it would come up to about 15,000 pounds total trailer weight. for the truck I plan to armor it up pretty good, it will be about 24,000 pounds total truck and trailer rollin down the road. figure that will pop through roadblocks if needed to do so.

nah its actually pretty straight, i picked it up for 400 bucks from some guy i went and drug it out of his pasture and headed down the road “If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. That looks like a pretty good setup to me. Having those 200 acres must be nice!

That's any excelent set up, not to flashy, complete rig, and good to go!
I like it...and the Gray man angle....Nice job. My basic tool rules:
Deploy your assets, if you spread them out no one know how many you really have............................ Redundant calibers are just another asset........... Have passed, "need", along time ago......... Invest in airplanes and firearms, never women or cars....... Precious metals..........Brass and lead...... With 200 acres , why would you have to bug out ? better to get a scrounge truck... your neighbors wont last as long as you will if you prepare and they dont.

I hate to rain on your parade, but you have some serious issues to deal with. 24K and half-ton pickup do not go together...and come to think of it, neither do a small block tranny and a big block engine. Add snow or ice to the mix and you need to stay home.
You are going to be much further ahead to either get a 1 ton (since you want to put over 3000 pounds of armor on it) or preposition the trailer...or keep it stock and keep the weight reasonable. Save you some time...hook it up to the rig in the background :) But neither is going to "pop through" a military roadblock. Failing to prepare is preparing to fail - Franklin (paraphrased)
