My new BOV

SHTF vehicle or vehicles you will use in a Disaster

Just picked it up the other day for $800. It's an 89 Mazda B2600i with 168k on the clock. Four wheel drive works great and all it needed was a right outer tie rod end!

Good, dependable little trucks. Watch the cooling system - those 2.6L engines don't take well to being run hot. You got a good price, especially with the rear pass-thru, extended cab and a real rear bumper! :beer:

Nice, those are good rigs. Doesn't cost much to put a little bigger tires on them either.

i just got a simular vehicle...think they have something in common (ford and mazda) give $1100 for it with the v6 and 5 speed 4x4.... 1987 ford ranger xlt

It is treating me pretty well so far. The rear bumper is in need of replacement. It's pretty much rusted through. I did pick up a camper shell off craigslist for $40 and am currently working on building a storage/sleeping platform in the bed and mounting lights on the shell.
