Howdy All,
I have been busy the last few weeks getting the beginnings of my mini BOB/EDC bag going, with many thanks to County Comm (and my bank account). My GF thinks I have lost it, and I have told her it is better to be prepared than sorry. Besides, you just never know...here are some photos, along with Tracker, my faithful Chocolate Lab. At 9 months, he's still a puppy, and it shows.
B.O.B Progress!

Nice bag. I had a frameless MARPAT backpack as my B.O.B. for awhile, but then I unpacked my A.L.I.C.E. Pack. I like it better. It is framed, has the same amount of storage, you can strap on everything, & I have abused it in the field so I know it's durable. Now I use my MARPAT backpack for school(RN:Emergency Medicine). Most important thing is that your comfortable with it. Do at least 1-2 miles a week walk through your neighborhood with it.

If you strap 2 of those bags together you can make a saddlebag type rig for your dog and carry 3 x as much.

I never would have thought about that, he could carry 2 no problem! Awesome!

What do you plan on putting in it? How long do you plan to be able to survive off of it and under what conditions?
