Ok so we decided to see if we could even get any channels where we are at.
We have not had tv service for over a year, but hey what the heck.

First i found a website that is listed below, here are some of my photos.

Starting project, with cuts of wire and a 2 x 4
Wire i cut at 14 inches and the 2 x 4 i used was about 24 inches


I did not use a Balun i just attached the coax wire and it works fine, I also used a part of old garden hose to insulate the wires. Then mounted to a 14 foot 2 x 4 and stuck up in the air.


I used a small piece of 1/2" x 1/2" hardware cloth for the reflector. Then mounted my CB Antenna to the top of it and stuck it in the air. We now have a total of about 12 channels and we are out in the middle of no where.
