It turns out there is a root cellar already. Its gonna take some work a couple of the top logs are split and bowing.
Considering a couple of options on this.
1. Putting in a center brace along with a support. Framing the rest out and putting in shelves
2. Demolition and start over

This is where all things power related will go

So there looks to be a phone box at the end of the drive, and if so then internet should be available. Just don't know if its in the budget yet. So many variables... More on this later

So to start this blog off..........
Well we took the plunge, 40 acres with a cabin. Fairly remote no water or power on the property. Have two generators lined up and am in the process of getting a wood gasifier to run them. The plan is to use the 5th wheeler for showers untill the solar shower and a more permanent solution can be handled. Plans for a Hot tub come to mind. Rocket mass heater on the big list as well.
