My old motto, "Speak like Gandhi, eat like Buddha, shoot like Crockett!"

My objectives in visiting SHTFM.com include meeting serious preppers at any stage of preparedness, and exchanging ideas.
My primary focus is on "Low Key" survivalism, as I'd prefer that no one in my immediate vicinity but family know that I prepare, and among them, no one knows the extent of what I'm doing. As such, while I'd like to work with other survivalists in my area, I'd prefer to prevent direct meetings. This is about survivalism, using every possible resource aggressively and I'd prefer not to be seen as an actual resource for materials, nor do I want to have sharp and solid ideas of where there's ample preps.
While I put considerable money and effort into my preps, I also want more bang for my buck, and I understand others might not have the same amount of funds for survivalism. I wrote "Shoestring Survivalism" as Andy James, for Paladin Press so I can help folks and share some of what I've learned.
I don't do anything illegal. I don't have any real agenda other than to be prepared for potential problems. I don't have any silly idea of a specific catastrophy and I've been on the right side about interpretting things like the Population Bomb, the Dead Ocean theory, the New Ice Age, Y2K, 12/21/2012 (or whatever) and Man made Global Warming as flawed, silly concerns.
PM me if you're serious about preps.
